Diletta Zonta is member of the management team for the European MSP Platform. She also contributes to the study ‘MSP for Blue Growth – How to plan for a sustainable Blue Economy‘ and serves as country expert for France. As senior consultant in Ecorys, Diletta has contributed to several DG MARE projects which explored a variety of Blue Growth dimensions including sea-basin strategies, key drivers and economic potential. As part of her extensive involvement in blue economy work, she contributed to the study supporting a maritime strategy in the Western Mediterranean, looked into the potential for Blue Growth on EU’s Atlantic Arc and analysed stakeholder views on the future of Blue Growth within the EUSBSR. She is one key author of the work on Maritime Clusters in the Mediterranean and Black Sea and was project manager to the study supporting a possible network of maritime training academies and institutes in the Mediterranean sea-basin. Her technical expertise comprises a methodological focus on stakeholder involvement tools, EU evaluations & impact assessments. Before joining Ecorys she worked in the DG MARE unit dealing with bilateral fishery agreements. Diletta holds a BA cum laude in international relations (University of Trieste), one master in European Affairs (Sorbonne University) and a post-graduate master degree in Political and Administrative Studies (College of Europe).
