ODEMM

ODEMM developed an approach including a series of resources that can help support decision-makers to implement operational EBM.

DEDUCE

This tool is aimed at validating essential methodological tools that foster the strategies of integrated coastal zone management. The assessment proposes a common methodological framework for calculating and reporting indicators, and to illustrate the usefulness of the coastal Indicators of Sustainable Development approach to develop ICZM.

PERSEUS

The practice presents a global synthesis of the work performed in the work package 2 of PERSEUS that was focused on the understanding of pressures and their impacts at costal level in the Mediterranean and the Black Sea.

BALANCE

Practical criteria and a first set of tools that can be used repeatedly to assess ecological coherence of the Baltic Sea MPA networks.

MARISPLAN

MARISPLAN will investigate, with the aid of hydrodynamic, ecological, watershed and economic models how climate change will influence the ecosystem of the Baltic Sea.

MESMA

Atlantis is an ecosystem box-model intended for use in management strategy evaluation. It was originally developed in Australia, but is increasingly used in the USA as well.

BALANCE

This practice shows which data and meta-data were gathered in the BALANCE data portal. It includes guidelines for data harmonisation.

MARMONI

One of the main aims of the MARMONI project was to develop a new set of marine biodiversity indicators and elaborate new monitoring concept for assessment of the status of marine biodiversity.

HELCOM-VASAB MSP Working Group

HELCOM-VASAB MSP Working Group agreed on ten principles ten providing guidance for achieving better coherence in the development of MSP systems in the Baltic Sea Region.

HELCOM Data and Map portal

The HELCOM Data and Map service is a Baltic Sea oriented online mapping tool combining spatial data from different HELCOM thematic map portals.

BALANCE

This practice provides the first Baltic Sea Oxygen Maps and analyses the depletion in oxygen concentration in the entire Sea and specific areas.

BaltSeaPlan

Within the BaltSeaPlan project, MSP processes were applied in eight distinct pilot areas throughout the Baltic Sea Region.
