Interreg North Sea Region Programme: Call 4 Expression of Interest

Interreg North Sea Region Programme: Call 4 Expression of Interest

Available Funding:
€ 72.966.808
Description:

The aim of the programme is to support development and foster sustained economic growth across the region. The North Sea Region Programme helps enterprises, institutions, public administrations, NGOs and others to pool their expertise, share their experience and cooperate to develop realistic solutions to problems shared by organisations across the region.

Projects of interest have a particular focus on pilots, demonstrations and trials. Projects typically explore how organisations can work better, often together, for the long-term. The four themes that are most relevant and pressing across the region cover:

  1. Thinking growth
  2. Eco-innovation
  3. Sustainable North Sea Region
  4. Green transport and mobility

Currently Call 4 for expressions of interest (EoI) is open for submissions from 30 June - 28 August 2017.

Submitting an EoI is a mandatory first step for submitting a full application. A full application can be submitted to Call 5 (29 December 2017 - 5 March 2018) based on an approved expression of interest under Call 4. A Guidance Note for submitting Expressions of Interest is available on the website of the North Sea Region Programme.

Eligible Applicants:

The North Sea Region Programme is open to anyone in the programme area, which is the whole of Norway and Denmark, eastern parts of the United
Kingdom, the Flemish Region of Belgium, northwest Germany, the northern and 4 western parts of the Netherlands and the south western area of Sweden. There is a detailed list of regions in the Cooperation Programme.

Project Length:

Projects approved under Call 5 will run from October 2018 - October 2021

Further Financing Information:

Reading this table: Column 2 holds the number of approved Full Applications under each specific objective in Calls 1, 2 and 3. The amounts of funding in column 3 show the level of interest and success in each specific objective. However, funding is allocated per priority (not per specific objective) so column 4 shows the remaining funds for each programme priority after Call 3. Column
5 reflects the remaining Norwegian funding after call 3.

All partners can claim reimbursement of 50% of costs for all project activities, although applicants should always check the specific conditions for each call for proposals for information on the total funds still available and any specialfunding terms that may apply. There is no formal minimum or maximum budget for projects, but projects will be assessed on value for money and larger
projects will be expected to deliver significant benefits to the programme area.
