A high level North Seas Energy Forum plenary session is organised on 28 November. The Stakeholder dialogue on Maritime Spatial Planning will take place from 10:30 – 12:30 on 29 November and will be followed by a networking lunch from 12:30-14:00. Last year 10 countries signed a declaration on cooperation in offshore wind in the North Seas, acknowledging the need for closer regional collaboration. The North Seas Energy Forum which was established to implement the declaration, will take stock of progress on the 4 different streams of work: maritime spatial planning, offshore grids, support frameworks and finance, and technical standards. This high-level session will open the Forum, bringing together senior policymakers from North Seas countries and offshore wind industry leaders to discuss the way forward.
